“Our vision is for A quality education for all Gambians, enabling them, and their country, to have a better quality of life.”

The Lisa Kent Schools

The Lisa Kent Trust operates a nursery school and a combined nursery and lower basic school in the Gambia. All our schools have been purpose-built on land owned by the Trust. We take care recruiting and supporting high quality teaching teams so that our children get the best possible start in life.

There are many children who are unable to attend school, as their parents are unable to pay. For this reason the Trust operates a sponsorship programme allowing some of these children the chance of an education and a better start to life.

Sponsor A Child

Sponsoring a child gives the opportunity for a child to be educated, something we in the West take for granted. Just £10 a month will provide an education for a child and open doors of opportunity for a better future. Once you have chosen a child you will then be asked to complete a sponsorship form which includes a check box to Gift Aid your sponsorship if you are a UK taxpayer.
